Syria is being subjected to the most sustained and vicious attack in its recent history from all sides, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey, USA, UK, France and Israel to mention but few. All these parties are supporting the rebels, who are less than 0.5% of the Syrian population, not counting the fact that they are all paid by Qatar and Saudi Arabia and led by tens of thousands of Al-Qaeda Foreign Fighters.

The truth about Syria and the so-called “Free Syrian Army” is often obscured by Western media that portrays them as freedom fighters. However, no better perspective can be given about these mercenary terrorists from Al Qaeda than through a Christian nun (Mother Agnes Mariam) who lived in Syria for a long time and understands the current situation in Syria very well.
In the current situation in Syria with over 1000 rebel groups and where Al-Qaeda is gaining the upper hand among the opposition forces, we feel that the Official Syrian Army lead by the Syrian Government offers the only hope of keeping Syria together and in the long term returning peace and stability to this beautiful country. Only then can political reforms be implemented peacefully.
Data, relayed to NATO in April-May 2013, asserted that 70% of Syrians support the Assad regime. Another 20% were deemed neutral and the remaining 10% expressed support for the rebels. (click to see report)
How can our governments claim that they are supporting democracy by supporting and arming the rebels?
Our experience in Northern Ireland has shown that peace can only be achieved when the entire world work together for peace. In Syria today the world is working together for WAR and that has to be stopped.
